It delves into his reasons for leaving behind modern life to embrace a quieter existence, preserving the traditions of his people. Through Hugo’s story, the film captures the voice of the younger generation of Ewenki, reflecting their deep-rooted connection to nature and the importance of maintaining cultural heritage.
This documentary was produced by the AM Creative Team from Communication University of Shanxi. It was nominated for the 13th China Academy Awards of Documentary Film and won Best Online Documentary at the 15th Cross-Strait Film and Television Festival.
